{this moment}

About two seconds after this photo he asked me to babysit the baby, then he was off with his battleship. But he checked on her often and instructed me to feed the baby milk and pancakes if she got hungry.

These are moments I cherish.

This is one of my favorites! -my car-loving, bug-catching, dirt-digging little boy, sitting in the corner feeding one of the dollies a bottle. Does my soul good. It affirms for me that he is seeing love, gentleness and kindness in our home every day to emulate it as he does, and then I say, "Thank you Jesus for helping me do something right!" :)

Awesome perspective!! Sometimes people get blinded by stereotypes of what "normal" should be. You saw compassion, love, gentleness and responsibility. Thank you for sharing!!-Joleen

This is so very sweet and precious. I love it when my boy is nurturing, too. They will make great fathers one day :)

Theresa,

I love the idea of that nurturing a future father! Yes, wonderful. :)

They are so gentle and sweet too at this age, huh? My four year old kisses my face, cradling it with his hands.
